The UCL IXN has been in existence since 2011. Initially developed to enable teaching in apps classes with industry mentors it has now matured into a scalable teaching process across several taught courses, including Proof of Concepts in Systems Engineering, final year projects, systems integration and MSc level dissertation projects. The programme has over 800 student engagements with industry every year in Computer Science. It is led by Dr Dean Mohamedally and Dr Graham Roberts.
Bristol University have a dual IXN programme being planned. In the School of Informatics it is led by Dr Daniel Schien.
Cardiff University is part of IXN Cymru which covers Wales. It is led by Prof David Mashall, Dr Philip Webb and Dr Joseph Connor.
A London based university with strong ties across the capital, Westminster IXN will run across several degrees. It is led by Dr Huseyin Dagdeviren in Computer Science.
Also a part of IXN Cymru in Wales via the Computationa Foundry, led by Dr Matt Roach.
Enabling students in the West Midlands to engage local industry as part of their study, Birmingham have a matured IXN programme led by Prof Rehan Bhana at their School of Informatics.
Bellevue College (USA)
Bellevue College in Washington USA is a community college looking to give further industry experiences to their students with their IXN programme. More information coming soon.
Velindre Hospital University have clinical projects for students being undertaken and are a partner on the IXN for the NHS programme. More information coming soon.
